If we are to create peace, our goal is not to dominate others with our ideas but to develop a relationship that has the strength to explore beyond dichotomy. The least desired path is to start the "battle" over what's justice and what's not or who's right and who's wrong. The quality of this battle would essentially be the same to what justifies war. Righteousness easily evolves into power/ entitlement/ authority/ absolutism and exclusion, and I feel like we're repeating this cycle forever. We must aspire to move beyond this "right/ wrong" "win/ lose" structure and to create a "place beyond" – a safe space where each and every side has a chance to express their thoughts and a chance to exchange opinions – at every level. Our world is essentially a compound of our daily actions, and therefore it is extremely important that we are conscious about how we converse and respond to each other in our every day lives.
